Flatufairy - causes refrigerator odor
The Flatufairies have made their habitat in our refrigerators, feeding on leftovers and expired food. They are extremely shy and are very good at camouflaging themselves. The second the refrigerator door opens it transforms into a can of sauerkraut that no one remembers buying and hides behind all the other cans in the back of the fridge, leaving only it’s pungent body odor lingering in the air. Maybe it does this to confuse predators that use their sense of smell to track their prey, maybe it’s a defence mechanism similar to the skunk’s? We don’t know for sure.
In spite of their smell the Flatufairies are very cleanly creatures, always pooping in the same area of the fridge: the vegetable drawer. Their feces looks very much like a piece of old, dried up cucumber. If you often find this in your refrigerator, together with a nasty smell, you can almost be sure to have a Flatufairy hiding in there somewhere. But don’t be alarmed, being a scavenger, it will help clean up old leftovers and other unsanitaries. The only downside (besides the stench) is it’s tendency to eat the last piece of cake left in the fridge – the only non-spoiled food it cares about.
