Piffle Dragon - causes rust
Piffle Dragons are no bigger than the tip of a very small pencil, but despite their tiny size they can cause serious rust damages to cars, tools and other metal objects with their highly corrosive saliva (probably a remnant from their fire-breathing days). They are, in fact, very fond of licking and eating metal (most likely another remnant from older times, when knights in shining armor was a natural part of a dragon’s diet).
In the beginning dragons were huge, terrifying beasts, being known for eating cattle and young maidens. People, being known to kill what they fear, and fearing everything that’s “snatching our jobs and girls away”, hunted the dragons to extinction. Well, almost.
When fighting will not save you, evolution will favor those better at hiding – in this case: the smallest of the dragons. This successful trait made the dragons smaller and smaller with time, until they became the size of gnats. Insect-eating birds and bats quickly learned that these tiny dragons cause severe heartburn and other various digestive disorders if you try to eat them. Leaving the little Piffle Dragons with no natural enemies, but with a lot of attitude.

I really like your writing style, fantastic information, thankyou for putting up : D.
